The simple/basic manufacturing and application process lends itself to various attractive opportunities.
The first opportunity is to manufacture and supply HYDRO-ASPHALT to existing companies and municipalities that repair and maintain roads.
The second opportunity is to manufacture and apply HYDRO-ASPHALT as a contractor to municipalities and Governmental departments.
HYDRO-ASPHALT can be easily manufactured under most conditions, with the bare necessities and unskilled labour.
Opportunities exist in all communities, towns, cities and countries worldwide.
The Technology is such, that if HYDRO-ASPHALT is manufactured according to Hydro Asphalt Technologies specifications, that success and product integrity is guaranteed.
Countries throughout the world are not only desperate to repair their infrastructure, but are wanting to increase employment and promote Sustainable Development.
The production of HYDRO-ASPHALT not only creates massive employment, but enhances/encourages huge skills development and training throughout communities.
Apart from all the massive Humanitarian benefits to local communities and countries, there exists a very attractive Return On Investment.
Investors and/or company's can cost effectively and with ease setup a manufacturing facility that requires only the most basic of implements/equipment and unskilled labour to
begin with.
These implements/equipment are simply spades, showels, rakes, picks, watering cannisters, brooms, hand stampers, etc
Other equipment that would certainly be necessary once contracts are established is a small compactor, trailer and a pickup truck.
Once cashflows and/or contracts are stable and capacity needs to be expanded, only then would motor driven pan-mixers be required to satisfy demand.
Refer to THE FIGURES
Hydro Asphalt Technologies will in conjuction with the Franschisee, get the product right in the targeted area, setup the production facility, establish suppliers and logistics, train
staff both in the manfacturing and application processes.
Hydro Asphalt Technologies standard Franschise agreement is available on request.
The Figures
Initial Setup
The initial cost to setup a basic facility is basically the cost of implements, spades, showels etc etc 1000's of Rands, depending on capacity required.
Capacity
One team of six unskilled labourers "hand-mixing" can produce 500 kg per mix, a minimum of 3 mixs per hour on an 8 hour day, giving theoretically a capacity of 12 tons or 480 (25kg) bags per day.
Capital outlay for such a facility approximately a few thousand Rands, being 6 showels, 1 rake, 2 brooms, 1 watering cannister, bag sealer (R250), at R100 per implement.
A factory floor or lean to of approximately 40-80 m2 for production is sufficient.
A larger capacity facility would require pan mixers of varying sizes, being a V200, V300 or V500, respectively these sizes can produce +/- 30, 48, 65 tons/day.
The costs of these various facilities depends on capacity and the periferal equipment that may be required to meet that capacity, ie: hoppers, conveyor belt systems, bagging units, forklifts, frontend loaders (Bobcats) etc
Potential
At any of these capacities above, the cost of capital outlay debate would be futile. Payback would be almost immediate.
An example would be a V300 producing 48 tons/day, 22 days/month, 42240 bags/month at R40-00/bag, Turn Over/month R1.7 Million. Capital outlay with all equipment and periferals +/- R400 000 to R500 000.
